2. Punjabi Translation
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ (ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਣੇ) ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਸੁਰਤਿ ਜੋੜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ । ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ । ਜੇਹੜੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਬਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੂੰ (ਮੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ) ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇ ਇਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇਸ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਚ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹਾਸਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ-ਜੋਗ ਹੈ, (ਨੱਕ ਕੰਨ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਆਦਿਕ ਸਾਰੇ) ਪਰਵਾਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ-ਜੋਗ ਹੈ । (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ) ਖਾਣਾ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ-ਜੋਗ ਹੈ, ਸੌਣਾ (ਸੁਖ-ਆਰਾਮ) ਫਿਟਕਾਰ-ਜੋਗ ਹੈ, ਸਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਪਹਿਨਣਾ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ-ਜੋਗ ਹੈ । (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਲਈ ਪੌੜੀ ਹੈ) ਜੇ ਇਹ ਪੌੜੀ (ਹੱਥੋਂ) ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਏ ਤਾਂ ਮੁੜ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ । ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣਾ ਬੜਾ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਗਵਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।੧।
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ (ਆਪ ਹੀ) ਦਇਆ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਹੈਂ, ਦਇਆ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ) ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ (ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ) ਇਹਨਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ । ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਕਈ ਜੀਵ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਈ ਜੀਵ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਬੱਝੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ—ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਆਖ ਕੇ ਸਮਝਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਬੱਝੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ।੨।
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ । ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਪਰ ਜੇਹੜੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੰਝੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਕਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਉਹ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਡੁੱਬੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ) ਉਹ ਨਾਹ ਉਰਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਜੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਹ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਣ ਜੋਗੇ ।੩।
(ਪਰ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਕੀਹ ਵੱਸ?) ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ) ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਂਭ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ । (ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਇਆ ਵਿਚ (ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਭੀ, ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ ਭਾਗ ਜਾਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ (ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਮੁਕਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।੪।੧।

4. English Translation
Bilawal Mahala Teeja Ghar Pehla Ik Onkar Satgur Parsad
(Dhrig Dhrig Khaya Dhrig Dhrig Soya Dhrig Dhrig Kapur' Ang Char'aya.....)
"By the Grace of the Lord-sublime, Truth personified & attainable through the Guru's guidance."
O Brother! Cursed be the eating of delicious foods and cursed be the, enjoying sleep or wearing rich clothes without the recitation of Lord's True Name ! Cursed be the whole family alongwith this body if we have not been able to attain the True Lord so far! Once we lose the support of this (ladder of) human life, we will never lay our hands on this precious life again. Let it be clearly understood that we have wasted this human life fruitlessly without the support of True Name. (1)
O Brother! The love of (Maya) worldly falsehood and dual- mindedness will never allow us to develop the love of the Lord in case we have forgotten the lotus-feet of the Lord from the mind. O Lord-benefactor, bestower of this life! You have cast away the ills and sufferings of the persons, who have become Your (slaves) devotees. (Pause - 1)
O Lord-benefactor! These human beings are rather helpless before You and are Your slaves, whereas You are their benevolent Lord, (Benefactor). We have heard from the holy saints that these men have been created by You and get salvation from the worldly bondage through Yours Grace alone. The Guru-minded persons get freedom from this bondage whereas the faithless persons are always engrossed in this bondage. (2)
O Lord! The persons, who are always immersed in Your love and are always reciting True Name, always hidden from the world which cannot be described by us. Infact, such persons have been bestowed by the Lord Himself with such beauty and charm Himself which is beyond description. However, those persons, devoid of the Lord's love, are called self-willed (faithless) and never get any solace either in this world or the next, as they find no way out on both the sides of the ocean of life. (3)
O Nanak! The persons, blessed with the Grace of the True Master, get united with the Lord by following the Guru's guidance (and teachings). The True Master has bestowed salvation on His devotees even though they live as householders in this world. The fortunate Guru-minded person, pre-destined by Lord's Will, gets emancipated from the cycle of births and deaths by throwing away the fear of death. (by killing the god of death), as he gets merged with the Lord. (4-1)
5. Hukamnama in Hindi
Hindi Translation
धिक्कार है उस खाने को, धिक्कार है उस सोने को, धिक्कार है उन कपड़ों को जो शरीर पर डाले गए हैं। धिक्कार है उस शरीर और उसके पूरे परिवार सहित जीवन को, जिसके द्वारा अब तक प्रभु को नहीं पाया गया। जीवन की कीमती सीढ़ी (मानव जन्म) फिसल गई, अब वह दोबारा हाथ नहीं आती – यह पहला जन्म यूँ ही गवा दिया ॥१॥
जो प्रभु के चरणों को भूल गया, उसे किसी और से प्रेम नहीं करना चाहिए; जो प्रभु के सेवक हैं, वही सच्चे हैं – जीवनदाता भगवान उनके सारे दुख दूर कर देता है ॥१॥
तू (हे प्रभु!) दयालु है, दया का मालिक और सबको देने वाला है। ये बेचारे प्राणी क्या कर सकते हैं? मोक्ष और बंधन – सब कुछ तुझसे ही होता है। ऐसे ही संत जन कहते और समझाते हैं। जो गुरमुख बनता है, वह मुक्त होता है; जो मनमुख है, वह बंधन में पड़ा रहता है ॥२॥
वही जन मुक्त होता है, जिसकी एक प्रभु में ही लगन जुड़ी रहती है, वह सदा प्रभु के साथ ही रहता है। उनकी गहराई और स्थिति को कहा नहीं जा सकता – सच्चा भगवान स्वयं उन्हें सँवारता है। जो भ्रम में भटकते रहते हैं, उन्हें मनमुख कहते हैं – वे न किनारे पर पहुँचते हैं, न पार हो पाते हैं ॥३॥
जिस पर प्रभु की कृपा दृष्टि हो जाती है, वही जन गुरु के शब्द को संभाल लेता है। प्रभु के भक्त माया में फंसे नहीं रहते – वे उससे पार हो जाते हैं। नानक कहते हैं: जिसके माथे पर भाग्य होता है, वही प्रभु की कृपा से काल को जीत लेता है और मुक्त हो जाता है ॥४॥੧॥
