ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਘਰੁ ੧੨ ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਬੰਦਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਬੰਦਨਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਰਾਇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਵਡੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਭੇਟੇ ਗੁਰਦੇਵਾ ॥ ਕੋਟਿ ਪਰਾਧ ਮਿਟੇ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ॥੧॥ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਪੈ ॥ ਸੋਗ ਅਗਨਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ॥੨॥ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਤਰਿਆ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗੇ ॥ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੇ ॥੩॥ ਪਰ ਧਨ ਦੋਖ ਕਿਛੁ ਪਾਪ ਨ ਫੇੜੇ ॥ ਜਮ ਜੰਦਾਰੁ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਨੇੜੇ ॥੪॥ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਅਗਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਉਧਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੫॥੧॥੫੫॥
English Translation
Dhanasari Mahala - 5th Ghar - 12th Ik Onkar Satgur Prasad (Bandna Har Bandna Gunn Gavoh Gopal Rai.....)
"By the Grace of the Lord-sublime, Truth personified & attainable through the Guru's guidance."
O Brother! Our salutations to the Lord- sublime! Let us continue singing the praises of the Lord -enlightener. (Pause)
However, the fortunate persons (Gursikhs) blessed with such a noble Guru, have cast away all their sins (millions of their sins) by serving the Lord. (1)
The person, who has taught the love of the lotus-feet of the Lord in his heart, is not bugged by the burning fire of afflictions (of vicious and sinful actions). (2)
Such Guru-minded persons have been enabled to cross this ocean of life by reciting their True Name in the company of the holy saints. As such I am tempted to recite the fearless Lord's True Name with love and devotion. (3)
Even the Yama, the god of death, does not go anywhere near such a person, who has not indulged in usurping anyone else's wealth or committed any sins with vicious actions. (due to fear). (4)
O Nanak! The Lord Himself has extinguished the fire of worldly desires of such Guru-minded persons and they have successfully crossed this ocean of life by taking the support of the True Master. (5-1-55)

धनासरी महला ५ घरु १२ ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥ बंदना हरि बंदना गुण गावहु गोपाल राइ ॥ रहाउ ॥ वडै भागि भेटे गुरदेवा ॥ कोटि पराध मिटे हरि सेवा ॥१॥ चरन कमल जा का मनु रापै ॥ सोग अगनि तिसु जन न बिआपै ॥२॥ सागरु तरिआ साधू संगे ॥ निरभउ नामु जपहु हरि रंगे ॥३॥ पर धन दोख किछु पाप न फेड़े ॥ जम जंदारु न आवै नेड़े ॥४॥ त्रिसना अगनि प्रभि आपि बुझाई ॥ नानक उधरे प्रभ सरणाई ॥५॥१॥५५॥
धनासरी महला ५ घरु १२ ईश्वर एक है, जिसे सतगुरु की कृपा से पाया जा सकता है। भगवान की हमेशा वन्दना करो, जगतपालक परमात्मा का गुणगान करो ॥ रहाउ ॥ अहोभाग्य से ही गुरुदेव से भेंट होती है। भगवान की भक्ति करने से करोड़ों ही अपराध मिट जाते हैं।॥१॥ जिसका मन भगवान के चरण-कमलों के प्रेम में लीन हो जाता है, उस मनुष्य को चिन्ता की अग्नि प्रभावित नहीं करती॥२॥ वह संतों की सभा में सम्मिलित होकर संसार-सागर में से पार हो गया है। निर्भय प्रभु का नाम जपो; हरि के प्रेम में आसक्त रहो॥ ३॥ जो व्यक्ति पराया-धन के लोभ दोष एवं अन्य पापों से मुक्त रहता है, भयंकर यम उसके निकट नहीं आता ॥ ४॥ उसकी तृष्णाग्नि प्रभु ने खुद ही बुझा दी है। हे नानक ! वह प्रभु की शरण में आकर माया के बन्धनों से मुक्त हो गया है॥ ५ ॥ १॥ ५५ ॥

ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹੀ ॥ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਹੈ ॥ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ, ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਣ-ਪੋਸਣਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਮੈਂ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥ ਠਹਿਰਾਉ ॥
ਭਾਰੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬੰਦਾ ਰੱਬ ਰੂਪ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਪਾਪ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਦੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਕੰਵਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਅਫਸੋਸ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਉਸ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਿਮੜਦੀ ॥ ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀਜ ਕੇ, ਉਹ ਨਿੱਡਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ ਜੋ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦਾ, ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਕੁਕਰਮ ਤੇ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦਾ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖਾਹਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਝਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਣਾਗਤਿ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਨਾਲ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਬੰਦ-ਖਲਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥
