English Translation
Raag Bilawal Mahala - 5th Dupade Ghar 5th ( Avar Upav Sabh Tiagia Daru Naam Lia )
"By the Grace of the Lord-sublime, Truth personified & attainable through the Guru's guidance."
O Brother! We have now taken the panacea of the Lord's True Name having discarded all other treatment (efforts) which has helped us to cast away all the sufferings of the body like fever, sins and other ailments, and we have attained peace of mind. We have worshipped the Lord Almighty by following the Guru's teachings as such we have cast away all our afflictions. In fact, the True Master has protected me against all my sufferings through His Grace. (Pause - 1)
The Lord has saved me from all the worldly afflictions by lending His helping hand. O Nanak! We have now attained peace and bliss of life by reciting the True Name of the Lord and have got rid of the fear of the cycle of births and deaths. (2-1-65)

राग बिलावल. पंचम गुरु. केवल एक ही ईश्वर का अस्तित्व है, जो सच्चे गुरु की कृपा से प्राप्त होता है।
मैंने अन्य सभी प्रयासों को त्याग दिया है, केवल दिव्य नाम के उपाय को अपनाया है। पाप का बुखार और हर कष्ट दूर हो जाता है, जिससे मेरी आत्मा शांत हो जाती है। पूर्ण गुरु का ध्यान करने से मेरे सारे दुःख दूर हो जाते हैं। अपनी करुणा से, उद्धारकर्ता ने मुझे बचाया है। विराम।
प्रभु ने मेरा हाथ पकड़कर मुझे संसार के कीचड़ से खींच लिया है और मुझे अपना बना लिया है। परमात्मा का चिंतन करते हुए, नानक की आत्मा और शरीर को शांति मिलती है, निर्भयता का भाव पैदा होता है।

ਰਾਗ ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ, ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ, ਦੁ-ਪਦਾ, ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਘਰ: ਇਕ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ। ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ:
ਮੈਂ ਹੋਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਰੂਪੀ ਬੁਖਾਰ, ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ||1|| ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਰਾਧਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੁਕਤੀਦਾਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ; ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਰ੍ਹਦੀ ਹੈ। ||1||ਰੋਕ||
ਮੇਰੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਫੜ ਕੇ, ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਨਕ, ਸਿਮਰਨ ਵਿਚ, ਉਸਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ, ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ । ||2||1||65||
