( Mere Antar Locha Milan Ki Pyare )

"By the Grace of the One Lord-Supreme, attainable through the Guru's guidance."
O, beloved Lord! I have a great longing in my heart to meet my beloved Lord. How could I meet Him through my True Guru, Just as a child cannot be satisfied with all sorts of toys and cannot keep quiet without milk?

O, my dear friend! My heart cannot be satiated with all sorts of dainty foods as my body and soul is pining for the Lord's love, so my heart cannot rest in peace without having a glimpse of the True Lord. (1)

my true friend & brother! Pray listen to my request (prayer) and enable me to meet the Lord-benefactor, the fountainhead of all worldly pleasures in the form of the Guru. The Guru realizes my ailment (malady) of the heart and does talk to me about the Greatness of the True Master daily. Now I cannot remain satisfied without uniting with my beloved Lord, even for a moment, just like the Papiha (toad) pining for the raindrop.

O, friend! How could I explain the virtues of the True Lord and give details of His Secrets and Greatness? The Lord is truly benevolent to protect even a useless and virtueless person like me. (2)

O, dear friend! I get disturbed and become sorrowful while waiting to meet my True Master and have a glimpse of His vision. When could I meet my Lord and personally perceive my Lord with my own eyes? I have forgotten how to enjoy worldly pleasures even and if I were to calculate) evaluate (the Lord) I would find how worthless I am without the presence of the Lord-Spouse? Even the body does not approve of my clothes, and I cannot wear any other robes either (I cannot develop any virtues). I would bow to and pay my obeisance to the friends who have enjoyed the bliss of the Lord's unison. (3)

O, dear friend! I have made preparations for all sorts of beautification in the form of my prayers and worship but they are all worthless, without the presence of the Lord-Spouse.

O, friend! All my youth, love and even life would be a waste if the Lord-Spouse were not going to talk to me or discuss with me my welfare. The Guru-minded persons are blessed and worthy and have taught the love of the Lord in their hearts.

O, friend! I always offer myself as a sacrifice to such Guru-minded persons and wash their lotus feet. (4)

O, dear friend! I always felt the Lord as a distant entity so long I worked with dual-mindedness and misgivings. But once I got united with the True Guru, I felt all my desires and the requirements of wealth were fulfilled.

O, friend! I have realized the fountainhead of all worldly comforts, the True Lord, who pervades everywhere in equal measure.

O Nanak! I have enjoyed the eternal bliss of the unison of the Lord by falling at the lotus feet of the worthy and venerable Lord. (5-1-9)

ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ( Mere Antar Locha Milan Ki Pyare ) ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ) ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਾਂ? ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀ! ਜੇ ਬਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੌ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਿਡਾਇਆ ਜਾਏ (ਪਰਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਏ) , ਤਾਂ ਭੀ ਉਹ ਦੁੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ। (ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ) ਹੇ ਸਖੀ! ਜੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੌ ਭੋਜਨ ਭੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ, ਤਾਂ ਭੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ (ਵੱਸਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਮਿਲਾਪ ਦੀ) ਭੁੱਖ ਲਹਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ। ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀ! ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ, ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਦਰਸਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।੧।

Hukamnama meaning in Hindi

वडहंस महला ५ घरु २ ईश्वर एक है, जिसे सतगुरु की कृपा से पाया जा सकता है। ( Mere Antar Locha Milan Ki Pyare ) हे प्रियतम प्रभु ! मेरे हृदय में तुझ से मिलने की प्रबल अभिलाषा है। मैं अपने पूर्ण गुरु को किस तरह प्राप्त कर सकता हूँ ? चाहे बालक को सैंकड़ों प्रकार के खेलों में लगाया जाए लेकिन वह दूध के बिना नहीं रह सकता। हें मेरी सखी ! यदि मेरे लिए सैंकड़ों प्रकार के स्वादिष्ट भोजन भी परोस दिए जाएँ, फिर भी मेरे हृदय की भूख दूर नहीं होती। मेरे मन एवं तन में अपने प्रियतम प्रभु का ही प्रेम बसता है और उसके दर्शनों के बिना मेरे मन को कैसे धैर्य हो सकता है ? ॥ १॥

हे मेरे सज्जन ! हे प्रीतम भाई ! ध्यानपूर्वक सुन, मेरा मिलन उस सुखों के दाता मित्र से करवा दो, क्योंकि वह मेरे मन की समस्त पीड़ा-वेदना को जानता है और नित्य ही मुझे परमेश्वर की बातें सुनाता है। मैं उसके बिना एक क्षण-मात्र भी नहीं रह सकता जैसे चातक स्वाति-बूंद हेतु रोता-कुरलाता रहता है, इसी प्रकार मैं भी उसके लिए कुरलाता हूँ। हे परमेश्वर ! तेरे कौन से गुणों को याद करके अपने चित्त में धारण करूँ, तुम मुझ जैसे गुणहीन जीव की रक्षा करते रहते हो।॥ २॥

हे मेरी प्यारी सखी ! अपने स्वामी की प्रतीक्षा करती हुई मैं उदास हो गई हूँ।फिर मैं अपने उस पति-परमेश्वर को अपने नयनों से कब देखूंगी ? पति-परमेश्वर के बिना मुझे समस्त रसों के भोग भूल गए हैं और वे किसी हिसाब में नहीं अर्थात् व्यर्थ ही हैं। यह वस्त्र भी मेरे शरीर को अच्छे नहीं लगते, इसलिए इन वस्त्रों को भी नहीं पहन सकती। जिन सखियों ने अपने प्रियतम प्रभु को प्रसन्न करके रमण किया है, मैं उनके समक्ष प्रणाम करती हूँ॥ ३॥

हे मेरी सखी ! मैंने सभी हार-श्रृंगार किए हैं परन्तु अपने प्रियतम के बिना ये किसी काम के नहीं अर्थात् व्यर्थ हैं। हे मेरी सखी ! जब मेरा स्वामी ही मेरी बात नहीं पूछता तो मेरा सारा यौवन व्यर्थ ही जा रहा है। हे मेरी सखी ! वे सुहागिन जीव-स्त्रियाँ धन्य-धन्य हैं, जिनके साथ उनका पति-प्रभु लीन हुआ रहता है। हे मेरी सखी ! मैं उन सुहागिन जीव-स्त्रियों पर बलिहारी जाती हूँ और हमेशा ही उनके चरण धोती हूँ॥ ४॥

हे मेरी सखी ! जब तक मेरे भीतर द्वैतभाव का भ्रम था, तब तक मैंने अपने प्रभु को दूर ही जाना। हे मेरी सखी ! जब मुझे पूर्ण सतिगुरु मिल गया तो मेरी समस्त आशाएँ एवं अभिलाषाएँ पूर्ण हो गई। हे मेरी सखी ! मैंने सर्व-सुखों के सुख पति-प्रभु को प्राप्त कर लिया है, वह पति-परमेश्वर सबके हृदय में समाया हुआ है। हे मेरी सखी ! गुरु-सतिगुरु के चरणों में लगकर नानक ने भी हरि के प्रेम-रंग का आनंद भोग लिया है॥ ५॥ १॥ ६ ॥
