Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, was born on the day of Kartik Purnima. The day of Kartik Purnima, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. Kartik Purnima is celebrated as the festival of lights. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was a great Guru who had these qualities of the Guru in himself.
