As for Bhai Kesar Singh, he was from a village known as Kariala and we can assume that he was born around 1715 AD. He mostly travelled to Jammu or Gujarat but visited Anandpur Sahib, Amritsar Sahib and Delhi occasionally. He met Mata Sahibs including Mata Sundari and Mata Sahib Deva. Kesar Singh was a disciple of Bhai Mani Singh and he is reported to have had Darshan of the Hazuri Sikhs namely, Mama Kripal Singh, Bhai Chaupa Singh, Bhai Kaur Singh Chandra, Bebe Gulabo and Bhai Majals Rai - all Important Sikh Figures.
We see that this combination of associations adds credibility to the writings of Kesar Singh Chhibbar. He was alive during the early part of the eighteenth century and his death is estimated to be around 1780 AD.
