Slok Mahalla Teeja ( Sabh Kichh Hukamai Aavda Sabh Kichh Hukamai Jaye )

O Nanak! Everything takes place as per the dictates of the Lord, all the persons are born as per Lord's Will, and then they perish as also per His Will. If someone feels that the fool himself does anything and takes credit for anything then he should be considered functioning like a blind man without any proper directions. In fact, it is the Guru-minded person, who is blessed with the Guru's Grace, who realises the True meaning of Lord's Will. (1)

Mahalla Teeja: Nanak! The person, who attains the True Name of the Lord through the Guru's guidance, realises the true path of life and is a real Yogi. Infact, the body of the Yogi contains everything within, though there is no use of show or false presentation of worship. O Nanak! There is hardly any Yogi, within whose heart the Lord appears in person. (2)

Pouri: The Lord has created this world and then maintains everyone. The Lord is perceived both in the seen or unseen forms, and pervades everywhere. He Himself occupies the State of utter Silence initially, and then creates the world and then pervades everywhere like a great householder. O Nanak! I seek the dust of the lotus-feet of the holy saints. O Lord! You are the only benefactor and there is no other giver (bestower of favours) to be seen (21-1) (Checked)

सलोक मः ३ ॥ सभ किछ हुकमे आवदा सभ किछ हुकमे जाए ॥ जे को मूरख आपहु जाणै अंधा अंध कमाए ॥ नानक हुकम को गुरमुख बुझै जिस नो किरपा करे रजाए ॥१॥ मः ३ ॥ सो जोगी जुगत सो पाए जिस नो गुरमुख नाम परापत होए ॥ तिस जोगी की नगरी सभ को वसै भेखी जोग न होए ॥ नानक ऐसा विरला को जोगी जिस घट परगट होए ॥२॥ पउड़ी ॥ आपे जंत उपाइअन आपे आधार ॥ आपे सूखम भालीऐ आपे पासार ॥ आप इकाती होए रहै आपे वड परवार ॥ नानक मंगै दान हरि संता रेनार ॥ होर दातार न सुझई तू देवणहार ॥२१॥१॥ सुध ॥

अर्थ

सब कुछ (इस संसार में) हुकम से आता है और हुकम से ही चला जाता है।
अगर कोई मूर्ख स्वयं को समझदार मानता है, तो वह अज्ञानता के अंधकार में कर्म करता है।
नानक कहते हैं, गुरमुख (गुरु के शिष्य) हुकम को समझता है, और जिस पर प्रभु की कृपा होती है, वही इसे जान पाता है।

वही असली योगी है, जो सही मार्ग अपनाता है और जिसको गुरमुख (गुरु के शिष्य) होकर प्रभु का नाम प्राप्त होता है।
उस योगी के मन के नगर में हर कोई रहता है, परंतु केवल बाहरी वेशभूषा से कोई योगी नहीं बनता।
नानक कहते हैं, ऐसा विरला ही योगी होता है, जिसके भीतर प्रभु प्रकट होते हैं।

प्रभु स्वयं ही सभी प्राणियों को उत्पन्न करता है और वही उनका आधार है।
वह स्वयं ही सूक्ष्म रूप में हर जगह मौजूद है और स्वयं ही विशाल रूप में फैलता है।
वह स्वयं अकेला रह सकता है, और वह स्वयं ही बड़ा परिवार भी बना सकता है।
नानक प्रभु से यह दान मांगते हैं कि उन्हें संतों की सेवा का अवसर मिले।
इसके अतिरिक्त और कोई दाता नहीं दिखाई देता, क्योंकि तू ही (प्रभु) सब कुछ देने वाला है।

ਹਰੇਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਚਲੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮੂਰਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ (ਕੁਝ ਵੱਡਾ) ਸਮਝ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਅੰਨਿ੍ਹਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।੧।

ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸੱਚਾ ਜੋਗੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇ (ਜੋਗ ਦੀ ਜਾਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਈ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਜੋਗੀ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ (ਰੂਪ) ਨਗਰ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੇਕ (ਗੁਣ) ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਨਿਰੇ) ਭੇਖ ਨਾਲ (ਰੱਬ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪ੍ਰਤੱਖ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਜੋਗੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।੨।

ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ) ਆਸਰਾ (ਬਣਦਾ) ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹਰੀ ਸੂਖਮ ਰੂਪ ਵੇਖੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ) ਪਰਪੰਚ (ਰੂਪ) ਹੈ; ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨ-ਧੂੜ (ਰੂਪ) ਦਾਨ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਦਾਤਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ।੨੧।੧।ਸੁਧੁ।
