Sorath Mahala 5
Mera Satgur rakhwala hoaa.
Dhaar kirpa Prabh haath de raakhia, Har Govind nava niroaa. ॥1॥ Rahao ॥
Taap gaya Prabh aap mitaya, jan ki laaj rakhaai.
Saadhsangat te sabh fal paaye, Satgur kai bal jaai. ॥1॥
Halat palat Prabh dovai savaare, hamra gun avgun na beecharia.
Atal bachan Nanak Gur tera, safal kar mastak dhaaria. ॥2॥21॥49॥

My True Guru came to my rescue,
In His grace, the Lord stretched His arm to save.
My Beloved is ever fresh and new. (1) Refrain
Relieved of maladies by the favor of the Almighty,
Of His servant the honor He vindicated.
I gained all sorts of fruit in the company of the holy,
I am sacrifice unto my True Guru supplicated. (1)
Without reckoning my good and bad deeds,
He saves me here and hereafter.
Immortal is the Word, says Nanak, of the Guru,
Which on my forehead is inscribed by the Master (2) 21.49

Sorath Mahala - 5 ( Mera Satgur Rakhwala Hoa )
My True Guru has become our protector, and has protected Har Gobind by lending His helping Han? (by giving His support) through His Grace and Har Gobind has recovered from his fever and become healthy. (Pause-1)
The Lord has saved the honor of His devotee and cast away the fever through His Grace. We would offer ourselves as a sacrifice to the True Guru, who has fulfilled all our desires in the company of the holy saints. (1)
The Lord Almighty has protected our honor (and prestige) both in this world and the next as well, without having any consideration of our flaws and shortcomings or virtues. O, Nanak! The Guru has lent His helping hand and protected our honor through the ever-existent Guru's Word. (2-21-49)

ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ (ਮੇਰਾ) ਸਹਾਈ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੇ (ਬਾਲਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨੂੰ) ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਹੁਣ ਬਾਲਕ) ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ-ਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਬਾਲਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦਾ) ਤਾਪ ਲਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਤੋਂ (ਮੈਂ) ਸਾਰੇ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਮੈਂ (ਸਦਾ) ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ (ਹੀ) ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ ਜੇਹੜਾ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪੱਲਾ ਫੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਵਾਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਗੁਣ ਜਾਂ ਔਗੁਣ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ। ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! ਤੇਰਾ (ਇਹ) ਬਚਨ ਕਦੇ ਟਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ (ਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ ਦਾ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਖਾ ਹੈ)। ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੱਥ (ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥੨੧॥੪੯॥
3. Mera Satgur Rakhwala Hoa - in Hindi
हे भाई! ( Mera Satgur Rakhwala Hoa ) मेरा गुरु (मेरा) सहायक हुआ है, प्रभु ने कृपा कर के बालक (गुरु) हरिगोबिंद को बचा लिया है, (अब बालक) हरिगोबिंद बिलकुल आरोग्य हो गया है।1।
बालक हरिगोबिंद का ताप उतर गया है, जो भगवान ने स्वयं उतारा है, ऐसा करके वाहेगुरु ने अपने सेवक की इज्ज़त रख ली है । गुरु की संगत से (मैंने) सारे फल प्राप्त किए हैं, मैं सदैव गुरु से ही न्योछावर जाता हूँ।1।
जीव का गुण दोष विचार किए बिना प्रभु लोक और प्रलोक दोनों ही संवार देता है । नानक कहते हैं, हे प्रभु तेरा यह वचन कभी टलने वाला नहीं जो तू अपना बरकत वाला हाथ (हम जीवों के) माथे पर रखता है।2।21।49।
