On this pious day, Guru Harkrishan Ji incarnated at the house of Guru Har Rai Ji. The 8th Nanak, Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji is the healer of all wounds & pain of Life. Guru Harkrishan Ji at a very young age of 5 years became the 8th Guru after Guru Har Rai Ji the 7th Guru. Guru Sahib continued to spread the message of Guru Nanak Sahib of one Almighty God and gave the Sikhs his valuable thoughts.

Healer of All Wounds
During the year 1663 Guru Sahib was in Delhi when plague and smallpox spread across Delhi. Thousands of people were dying on the streets, and the rulers were unable to control the disease, At that time Guru Harkrishan Ji came to the streets and tended to the wounds of the people suffering from the disease. Thousands of people were cured of all their pain with just one look at the 8th Guru. Guru Harkrishan Ji at the age of 8 years left this world and became one with the Almighty Akal Purakh. Before leaving this world Guru Harkrishan Ji gave a message or signal to the Sikhs to find the 9th Guru "Baba Bakale".
जब हर गुरसिख अकाल पुरख के चरणों में प्रार्थना करता है, तो वह इन शब्दों का उच्चारण करता है और गुरु हर कृष्ण साहिब जी को बड़े प्यार, भक्ति और श्रद्धा के साथ श्रद्धांजलि देता है। अरदास के ये वचन ऐसे हैं जो प्रेरणा देते हैं कि श्री गुरु हरकृष्ण जी के आदर्श जीवन को याद रखना चाहिए क्योंकि उनके दर्शन मात्र से ही पूरी मानवता के सभी दुख दूर हो जाते हैं। इन विचारों के माध्यम से 'बाला प्रीतम' गुरु की पहचान, महानता और महिमा का पता चलता है।
