Waho Khasam Tu Waho, Jin Rach Rachna Hum Keeye; is Hukamnama Darbar Sahib Today from Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar on Dated [pods field="date_ce"]. The author of the pious Hukam Gurbani is Guru Nanak Dev Ji and is documented in Sri Guru Granth Sahib JI at Ang 788 under Raga Suhi Ki Vaar Pauri 10th with Slokas.

English Translation

Slok Mahala 1 ( Waho Khasam Tu Waho Jin Rach Rachna Hum Keeye )

O, Lord! How could I describe the beauty of your Nature? are truly praiseworthy who has created this universe (along with Maya) through Your indescribable power, and created us, (beings) as well.

Your Nature has created the oceans, the waves of oceans, lakes along with beautiful sights (banks), the rain-soaked clouds, and the mighty mountains. You are standing aloof from all Your creation having created this world. O, Lord! You have appreciated the services of the Guru-minded persons, as they are engaged in fruitful functions, which produce useful results.

O, Lord! There are some persons, who seek the fruits of their labor in the form of salvation or other results by putting in hard work in Your worship. O, Nanak! The True Master is really Great, True, and carefree, from whose doors no one (beggar even) is turned away emptyhanded. (1)

Mahala 1:

O, Nanak! The Lord bestowed the milk-white teeth like pearls to this human being along with beautiful eyes like the emeralds. However, in old age, these things get destroyed. (disfigured).

Pouri:

The persons, who have sung the praises of the Lord always having surrendered their body and mind (soul) to Him; have attained the Lord through the Guru's Word who is too deep (for a probe), Truth personified and beyond our comprehension. They have inculcated the love of the Lord in their hearts who is the enlightenment of their life (nights) and pervades within their inner selves.

O, Nanak! Such Guru-minded persons have cast away their sufferings of the cycle of births and deaths, and they are not passed through various{millions) forms of life (eighty-four lakhs) in this cycle. O, Brother! You could also amass this wealth of True Name, the ocean of virtues, by singing the praises of the Lord, and reciting True Name. (10)

श्लोक महला १॥ वाह मालिक! तू वाह-वाह है, जिसने यह सृष्टि-रचना करके हमें पैदा किया है। तूने ही सागर, समुद्र की लहरें, सरोवर, वनस्पति की शाखाएँ एवं वर्षा करने वाले बादल पैदा किए हैं।

तू स्वयं ही सृष्टि रचना करके उसमें आधार बनकर स्वयं ही खड़ा है। तू स्वयंभू है, सबकुछ है। जो व्यक्ति सहज स्वभाव परमतत्व की सेवा करता है, उस गुरुमुख की सेवा ही परमात्मा को मंजूर होती है।

अपने मालिक के द्वार से माँग -माँग कर अपनी नाम की कमाई की मजदूरी लो। गुरु नानक कहते हैं कि हे बेपरवाह प्रभु! तेरा घर खजानों से भरपूर है, तेरे घर में किसी वस्तु की कोई कमी नहीं और तू ही सच्चा बेपरवाह है ॥१॥

महला १॥ आदमी के सुन्दर शरीर में मोतियों जैसे सफेद दाँत एवं रत्नों जैसे नेत्र जड़ित होते हैं। हे नानक ! जो बूढ़े होकर मरते हैं, बुढ़ापा उनका शत्रु है अर्थात् बुढ़ापा शरीर को नाश कर देता है| ॥२॥

पउड़ी। अपना तन-मन एवं शरीर सब सौंपकर सदैव परमात्मा की स्तुति करो। गुरु के उपदेश द्वारा सत्य को पाया जा सकता है, जो गहन गंभीर एवं शाश्वत है । परमात्मा रूपी अनमोल हीरा तन मन हृदय सब में मौजूद है।

मेरा जन्म-मरण का दुख मिट गया है और अब मुझे आवागमन में पड़ना नहीं पड़ेगा। हे नानक ! परमात्मा गुणों का गहरा सागर है, तू उसके नाम का स्तुतिगान करता रह।१० ॥

Gurmukhi Translation

ਹੇ ਖਸਮ! ਤੂੰ ਧੰਨ ਹੈਂ! ਤੂੰ ਧੰਨ ਹੈਂ! ਜਿਸ ਜਗਤ-ਰਚਨਾ ਰਚ ਕੇ ਅਸਾਨੂੰ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਮੁੰਦਰ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ, ਤਲਾਬ, ਹਰੀਆਂ ਵੇਲਾਂ, ਵਰਖਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੱਦਲ-(ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ) ।

ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਭ ਵਿਚ ਆਪ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈਂ ਤੇ (ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਭੀ ਹੈਂ) ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ (ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ) ਕਬੂਲ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਘਾਲ ਘਾਲ ਕੇ, ਹੇ ਖਸਮ! ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਮੰਗ ਕੇ ਮਜੂਰੀ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਜੋ ਸਰੀਰ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਿੱਟੇ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਨੈਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੋਭ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਬੁਢੇਪਾ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਬੁੱਢੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।੨।

(ਹੇ ਜੀਵ!) ਤਨ ਮਨ ਸਰੀਰ (ਆਪਣਾ ਆਪ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ) ਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰ; (ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ) ਗੁਰ-ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ (ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਡੂੰਘੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੀਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਹੀਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਦਾ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ; ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ (ਇਸ ਗੇੜ ਵਿਚ) ਚੱਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ।

(ਸੋ) ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਤੂੰ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਜੋ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।੧੦।
