Guru Gobind Singh Ji Birthday 2025: Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Nanak of the Sikhs, was born on 22 December 1666 in Patna (Bihar). However, according to the Sikh Nanakshahi calendar, this date varies every year. On the forthcoming 27th of December 2025 Saturday, Gurpurab will be celebrated by Sikh devotees of India and abroad. Guru Gobind Singh was the only child of the 9th Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Tegh Bahadur and Mata Gujri.

The tenth guru of the Khalsa Panth, Sri Guru Gobind Singh, is considered a great freedom fighter and poet. Guru Gobind Singh Ji is also considered an idol of sacrifice and valor. There is no second example in terms of bravery that equates to Guru Gobind Singh. He said 'My one Singh is equal to one hundred twenty-five thousand warriors in terms of strength and valor'.
The Struggle of Guru Gobind Singh
Guru Gobind Singh had seen all that in his life, after seeing that a common man might deviate from his path or stagger but it did not happen to him. The martyrdom of great-grandfather Guru Arjan Dev, the war done by grandfather Guru Hargobind, Martyrdom of father Guru Tegh Bahadur, Eldest of his four sons (Sahibzada Ajit Singh and Sahibzada Jujhar Singh) were martyred in the battle of Chamkaur and the younger two sons (Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh) were bricked alive in a wall by Wazir Khan, of valor and sacrifice. There are unique examples, Guru Gobind Singh struggled to stay firm in all these developments, it is not a common thing.
