What is Gur Parkaran Chanan?

Essentially, Gur Parkaran Chanan is an organized historical and spiritual record of the past in the Gurmukhi language. The text is a wonderful journey map of the key events in the history of the Sikh faith. Rather than simply flitting through history, it adopts a systematic and chronological perspective about the way in which the divine message was grounded on earth.

The book is traditionally divided into distinct, thematic chapters (Prakarans) that take the spiritual journey from the unmanifested to the present living Guru of the Sikhs.
