Originally Published in English Language in April 1935, and then 30 years later its Punjabi translation came in 1964. The story of the Book goes like this:

The history of Sikhism is a history of struggle and sacrifice. There have been many great martyrdoms in this history. The life of Baba Banda Singh Ji holds a special place in these events. Madho Das (Baba Banda Singh Ji Bahadur), who once renounced the world, was living the life of a Bairagi sadhu in the Nanded area. When Dasmesh Pita Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji reached Nanded, he met this Bairagi sadhu. Madho Das was using his powers against the unsuspecting. After meeting the Satgurus, Madho Das was transformed and sought refuge under the Guru. Patshah Ji, after giving him Amrit, renamed him Baba Banda Singh and gave him the mission of re-establishing Dharma. After that, Baba Banda Singh headed towards Punjab with a special responsibility.

Baba Banda Singh came to Punjab, reorganized the power of the Sikhs, and initiated the struggle against Mughal rule. When Baba Banda Singh advanced with the organizational power of the Khalsa, the great pillars of Mughal power were shaken. The Mughal forces suffered heavy losses in the battles. The city of Sirhind, tainted by the martyrdom of the young princes Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, was destroyed, and the Sikh flag was hoisted there for the first time. With this, the title "Bahadur" was added to the name of Baba Banda Singh. This great general came to be known as Baba Banda Singh Bahadur in the Khalsa Panth.
