Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, speaking after performing ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ at the Ram Janmabhoomi referred to versions of Ramayan in all Indian languages including one by Tenth Sikh Master Guru Gobind Singh Ji titled Gobind Ramayana.
There is no doubt Guru Gobind Singh Ji wrote a version of Ramayana. That is another fact the source of Gobind Ramayan is still debatable to the Sikh Community.
Actually, there are 'Chaubees Avatar' Baani enrolled in Dasam Granth written by Guru Gobind Singh. Most of the Sikh Panth is divided on the authenticity of Dasam Granth but we are not.
Dasam Granth is an important part of our Shakhsi Rehni, and a faithful Sikh won't ever pick a finger at Dasam Granth's authenticity. The concept of Fateh, Baani of Jaap Sahib, the Value of Iron, and a lot of other values that are part of Sikh Life, come from Dasam Granth. Rejecting Dasam is like rejecting a Sikh's existence.
Intentionally or Unintentionally Govt has aggravated the confusion among Sikhs, but this is a matter to handle with an open mind and gentle intellectualism. Whatever I have figured yet reading Dasam is, Guru Ji was a great Scholar, and Scholar minds always retell stories in contemporary language. 'Chaubees Avatar' was a whole new retelling of Poranik Stories in Braj which indicates Guruji's broad understanding of Religious tolerance.
