Baba Deep Singh Ji, the great general of the Sikh Nation and the undisputed warrior was born from the womb of Mata Jiuni Ji in the village Pahuwind, the home of father Bhai Bhagta Sandhu. Today on the occasion of his Birthday, we wish the entire Sikh Sangat.
Brief History
Baba Deep Singh was a prominent Sikh warrior and martyr who lived in the 18th century. He was one of the most revered figures in Sikh history and is remembered for his devotion to the Sikh faith and his willingness to sacrifice his life for the protection of the Sikh community and its holy sites. He is particularly known for leading the defense of the Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar during the attack by the Afghan ruler Ahmad Shah Durrani in 1762.
