Neech Jaat Har Japatiaa Utam Padvi Pai, is Today’s Hukamnama from Sri Guru Granth Sahib throned at Sachkhand Darbar Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar on Dated November 16, 2022. The creator of Today’s Mukhwak is Sri Guru Ramdass Ji, documented in SGGS Ji Ang 733 in Raga Soohi.

ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਘਰੁ ੬ ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਨੀਚ ਜਾਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਤਿਆ ਉਤਮ ਪਦਵੀ ਪਾਇ ॥ ਪੂਛਹੁ ਬਿਦਰ ਦਾਸੀ ਸੁਤੈ ਕਿਸਨੁ ਉਤਰਿਆ ਘਰਿ ਜਿਸੁ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਜਨ ਭਾਈ ਜਿਤੁ ਸਹਸਾ ਦੂਖ ਭੂਖ ਸਭ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਰਵਿਦਾਸੁ ਚਮਾਰੁ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਨਿਮਖ ਇਕ ਗਾਇ ॥ ਪਤਿਤ ਜਾਤਿ ਉਤਮੁ ਭਇਆ ਚਾਰਿ ਵਰਨ ਪਏ ਪਗਿ ਆਇ ॥੨॥ ਨਾਮਦੇਅ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਲੋਕੁ ਛੀਪਾ ਕਹੈ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥ ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਪਿਠਿ ਦੇ ਛੋਡੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਲੀਆ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਇ ॥੩॥ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਭਗਤ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਕਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਅਠਸਠਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਤਿਨ ਤਿਲਕੁ ਕਢਾਇ ॥ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਪਰਸੇ ਜੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ॥੪॥੧॥੮॥

Poochhahu Bidar Daasi Sutai Kisan Utariaa Ghar Jis Jai ||1||

Har Ki Akath Katha Sunahu Jan Bhai Jit Sahsa Dookh Bhookh Sabh Leh Jai ||1|| Rahaau ||

Ravidas Chamaar Ustat Kare Har Keerat Nimakh Ik Gai ||
Patit Jaat Uttam Bhiaa Chaar Varan Pe Pag Aai ||2||

Naamdea Preet Lagee Har Seti Lok Chheepaa Kahai Bulai ||

Suhi Mahala- 4 Ghar- 6 Ik onkar satgur prasad

“By the Grace of the Lord-Sublime, Truth personified & attainable through the Guru’s guidance.”

O, Brother! Even the (lowly) persons of low caste have become great and praise-worthy by reciting Lord’s True Name. If you were to ask the saint Bidar, the son of the maid, in the family of Kauravas and Pandavas, he would confirm this fact as Krishna had preferred to stay with him .in preference to Duryodhana (the ruler) (1)

O, Brother! Let us hear the story of the Lord’s Greatness, who is beyond our comprehension, as this discourse would help us to cast away all our doubts, hunger, and afflictions. (Pause -1)

The cobbler Ravidas belonged to a low caste but became so great by reciting the Lord’s True Name and singing His praises every moment, that all the four castes would bow at his lotus feet. (2)

Namdev ( called by the people a washerman of low caste ) developed the love of the Lord. He in turn embraced him by giving a glimpse of His vision to him. He had been disgraced and discarded by all the Brahmins and Khatris. (3)

O, Nanak! All the slaves and saints of the Lord are predestined by Lord’s will and bestowed with the insignia of having bathed at all the (sixty-eighty) holy places of pilgrimage. O, Lord! May we be blessed with Your Grace so that we could apply the dust of the lotus feet of your saints on our foreheads and serve them day and night! ( 4- 1- 8)

नीच जात हर जपतिआ उतम पदवी पाइ ॥
पूछहु बिदर दासी सुतै किसन उतरिआ घर जिस जाइ ॥१॥

नीच जाति का आदमी भी हरि का नाम जपने से उत्तम पदवी पा लेता है। इस बारे चाहे दासी पुत्र विदुर के संबंध में विश्लेषण कर लो, जिसके घर में श्रीकृष्ण ने आतिथ्य स्वीकार किया था ॥ १॥

हर की अकथ कथा सुनहु जन भाई जित सहसा दूख भूख सभ लह जाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

हे भाई! हरि की अकथनीय कथा सुनो, जिससे चिंता, दुख एवं भूख सब दूर हो जाते हैं।॥ १॥ रहाउ ॥

रविदास चमार उसतत करे हर कीरत निमख इक गाइ ॥
पतित जात उतम भइआ चार वरन पए पग आइ ॥२॥

चमार जाति के भक्त रविदास ईश्वर की उस्तति करते थे और हर क्षण प्रभु की कीर्ति गाते रहते थे। वह पतित जाति से महान् भक्त बन गए। ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य एवं शूद्र-इन चारों वर्णो के लोग उनके चरणों में आ लगे ॥ २ ॥

नामदेअ प्रीत लगी हर सेती लोक छीपा कहै बुलाइ ॥
खत्री ब्राहमण पिठ दे छोडे हर नामदेउ लीआ मुख लाइ ॥३॥

भक्त नामदेव की प्रीति हरि से लग गई। लोग उन्हें छीपा कहकर बुलाते थे। हरि ने क्षत्रिय एवं ब्राह्मणों को पीठ देकर छोड़ दिया और नामदेव की ओर मुख करके उन्हें आदर दिया ॥ ३॥

जितने भगत हर सेवका मुख अठसठ तीरथ तिन तिलक कढाइ ॥
जन नानक तिन कउ अनदिन परसे जे कृपा करे हर राइ ॥४॥१॥८॥

ईश्वर के जितने भी भक्त एवं सेवक हैं, अड़सठ तीर्थ उनके माथे का तिलक लगाते हैं। यदि जगत् का बादशाह हरि अपनी कृपा करें तो नानक नित्य ही उनके चरण स्पर्श करता रहेगा। ४ ॥ १॥ ८ !!
