प्रकाश उत्सव गुरु रामदास जी
Parkash Utsav Guru Ramdas Ji 2024: सिखों के चौथे गुरु श्री रामदास का जन्म 25 सितंबर 1534 ई. को लाहौर के चूनामण्डी क्षेत्र में एक सोढ़ी परिवार में हुआ था. उनके पिता का नाम हरिदासजी था और दया कौरजी उनकी माता का. बचपन में ही माता-पिता के देहान्त हो जाने के बाद उनकी नानी ने उनका पालन-पोषण किया था. उस समय उनका नाम जेठा था.

2024: Parkash Utsav Guru Ramdas
As Adi Guru Granth Sahib itself speaks: The eternal light of Guru Nanak descended into Lehna, from where it went into Amardas Bhalla and then into Ramdas Sodhi. They all taught the mode of worship and showed the real path of salvation.
Guru Ramdas Ji composed Anand Karaj - Bani of Lava - an essential custom for the marriage of the people of Sikhism. Guru Ramdas Ji carried forward the Langar tradition given by his gurus. He also started the excavation of the holy lake 'Santokhsar'. Guru Arjan later completed the unfinished work of excavation of tanks - Santokhsar and Amritsar.
