Hola Mohalla
Happy Hola Mohalla 2026: This festival is celebrated for three consecutive days on the pious land of Anandpur Sahib, in which members of the Sikh community display their physical strength by performing dare-devil acts like bareback horse-riding, standing erect on two speeding horses, Gatka (mock encounters), tent pegging, etc.

This is followed by music and poetry competitions to lighten the charged-up atmosphere. Several durbars are also held where Sri Guru Granth Sahib is present and kirtan and religious lectures take place. This helps strengthen the soul of the Sikh community.
ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਰਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਇਹ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਜੁਝਾਰੂ ਨਿਹੰਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਤਕੇ ਦੇ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਤੇਜ਼ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਗਤਕਾ ਖੇਡਣ ਵਰਗੇ ਦਲੇਰੀ ਭਰੇ ਸਟੰਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੋਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਨੂੰ ਹਲਕਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵੀ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਹਜੂਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
