Koi Bole Ram Ram, Koii Khudaaye
Koee Sevai Gusaiyan, Koi Allahe
Hindu people call him Ram, and some others call Him Khuda.
Some serve Him as 'Gusain' and Muslims call him 'Allaah'.
Kaaran Karan Kareem,
Kirpa Dhaar Raheem
Almighty Lord is the Cause of causes.
He showers His Blessings and Clemency upon us.
Koi Nahavai Teerath, Koi Hajj Jaaye
Koi Kare Pooja, Koi Sir Nivaaye
Some bathe at sacred shrines of pilgrimage such as Gange, and some make the pilgrimage to Mecca (the birthplace of Muhammad it is the holiest city of Islam).
Some perform pious worship services, and some bow their heads in prayer.
Koi Padhe Bed, Koi Kateb.
Koi Odhai Neel, Koi Supaid
Some read the Vedas (Sacred books of Hindus), and some the Koran (Sacred book of Islam).
People wear different colors of clothes. Some wear blue, and others white.
Koi Kahe Turq Koi Kahe Hindu.
Koi Baachhai Bhist, Koi Surgindu
Some call themselves Muslim, and some call themselves Hindu.
Some have desires for Bahisht ( Jannat, Islamic heaven), and others long for Surgindu (Swarg-Indu: Heaven owned by Lord Indra).
Kaho Naanak Jin Hukam Pachhaata.
Prabh Sahib Ka Tin Bhed Jaata.

Punjabi Translation of Koi Bole Ram Ram...
ਕਈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਮ, ਰਾਮ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਖੁਦਾ।
ਕਈ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਗੁਸਾਈਂ ਜਾਣ ਸੇਵਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਕਈ ਅੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਜਾਣ।
ਉਹ ਸਬਬਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਬਬ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਤਾਰ ਹੈ।
ਕਈ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਾ ਜਿਕਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਦਾ। ਠਹਿਰਾਓ।
ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹਿੰਦੂਆਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਉਪਾਸ਼ਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਕਈ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਚਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨੀ, ਈਸਾਈ, ਮੂਸਾਈ, ਮਜ਼ਹਬੀ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਨੂੰ।
ਕਈ ਨੀਲੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਚਿੱਟੇ।
ਇਕ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨੀ ਬਹਿਸ਼ਤ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਹਿੰਦੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਰਗ ਨੂੰ।
ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਫਰਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਉਹ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਾਲਕ ਦੇ ਭੇਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
English Translation
Ramkali Mahala 5th ( Koi Bole Ram Ram )
O, Lord! Some (Hindus) worship You by repeating "Ram, Ram" whereas some others (Muslims) pray to You by calling You ('Gosaiee') True Master and the Muslims serve You by repeating the name 'Allah'. (l)
O, Lord! The Hindus consider You as the cause and effect of everything while the Muslims call You by the name "Karim", the benevolent benefactor. (Pause -1)
The Hindus visit various holy places of pilgrimage for having baths (in holy rivers) while the Muslims proceed to Mecca for Haj (pilgrimage). Then the Hindus worship the gods with (Pooja) prayers and the Muslims pray to the Lord by bowing their heads m obeisance. (2)
Some (Hindus) persons study Vedas while the others (Muslims) read Koran. Some (Muslims) wear blue clothes while the Hindus wear white clothes. (3)
Many persons call themselves Hindus whereas some others call themselves (Turks) Muslims. Some (Hindus) persons study Vedas while the others (Muslims) read Koran. Some (Muslims) wear blue clothes while the Hindus wear white clothes. (4)
Some persons call themselves Hindus whereas some others call themselves (Turks) Muslims. Some (Hindus) are longing for Heavens (Swarga) and the Muslims look forward to the 'Bahisht' (heavens).
O, Nanak! Out of all these people (Hindus and Muslims) only they have realized the Lord's secrets, who have followed the "Will of God" (Lord's Will). (5 - 9)
