English Translation

Bilawal Mahala 5th ( Sant Saran Sant Tehal Kari )
O Brother! I have served the holy saints only, taking refuge at their lotus feet. I have thus got emancipated from all the worldly bondage or otherworldly involvements through their support. (Pause – 1)
When we attained the (boon) nectar of the True Name of the Lord through the Guru’s guidance, we enjoyed all the comforts and bliss of life. Now I want such joy and bliss by reciting the True Name, which is indescribable, as the Lord has enabled me to cut off myself from all worldly attachments and to recite the Lord’s True Name all the time. (1)
O Nanak! Now I have perceived the Lord pervading all the beings equally, being omnipresent. There is no place devoid of His presence, as He is seen pervading all the places in equal measure. O, Lord! You are united and merged with all the beings as Your Grace and benevolence are seen prevailing everywhere. I have realized (the secrets of) the Lord through the Guru’s Grace and I am fully stuffed, having been united with the Lord, and all my desires or (hopes) needs have been fulfilled. (2-7-93)

हे भाई! जब मैं गुरु की शरण आ पड़ा, जब मैं गुरु की सेवा करने लग पड़ा, (मेरे अंदर से) धंधा, बंधन और सारा जंजाल (समाप्त हो गए), मेरी रुचि और-और काम से मुक्त हो गई।1। रहाउ।
हे भाई! गुरु से मैंने परमात्मा का नाम प्राप्त हासिल कर लिया (जिसकी इनायत से) आत्मिक अडोलता का सुख और आनंद (मेरे अंदर उत्पन्न हो गया)। हरि-नाम का स्वाद मुझे ऐसा आया कि मैं वह बयान नहीं कर सकता। गुरु ने मेरी रुचि माया की तरफ से पलट दी।1।
हे भाई! (गुरु की कृपा से) सुंदर प्रभु को मैंने सबमें बसता देख लिया है, कोई भी जगह उस प्रभु से वंचित नहीं दिखती, सारी ही सृष्टि प्रभु की जीवन-लहर से भरपूर दिखाई दे रही है। कृपा के खजाने परमात्मा हर जगह पूर्ण तौर पर व्यापक दिख रहे हैं। हे नानक! कह: (हे भाई! गुरु की मेहर से) मेरी मेहनत सफल हो गई है।2।7।93।

ਬਿਲਾਵਲ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹੀ । ( Sant Saran Sant Tehal Kari )

ਮੈਂ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਲੋੜਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ । ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਧੰਦਿਆਂ, ਅਲਸੇਟਿਆਂ, ਪੁਆੜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਿਉਹਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖਲਾਸੀ ਪਾ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ । ਠਹਿਰਾਉ ।

ਆਰਾਮ, ਅਡੋਲਤਾ, ਬਹੁਤੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ, ਮੈਂ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ । ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਰਣਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ । ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ । ਮੋਹਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਹਰ ਇਕਸ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ । ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਖਾਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ । ਉਹ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੀਪੂਰਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਰਹਿਮਤ ਦਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ, ਮੇਰਾ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਰਮਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ । ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਰਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਫਰਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ।
