Ichha Poorak Sarab Sukhdata Har, Ja Kai Vas Hai Kamdhena; is Hukamnama today from Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar on Dated September 7, 2021.

English Translation

Dhanasari Mahala – 4th ( Ichha Poorak Sarab Sukh Daata… )

O, my soul! Let us recite the True Name of the Lord, who is our (greatest) benefactor fulfilling all our worldly desires and has control over the cow, Kamdhain (which is supposed to fulfill all our desires) so that we could enjoy the eternal bliss in our hearts. (1)

O, my mind! Let us always recite the Lord’s True Name and only True Name of the Lord, so that we are received with honor both in this world and the next and proceed with flying colors to the Lord’s presence by singing the praises of the Lord, free from the effects of Maya. (Worldly falsehood). (Pause)

Wherever the Lord’s True Name is being recited and His praises are being sung, the place gets cleared of the filth of sinful actions, but it is only a few fortunate persons, who attain this True Name, being predestined by the Lord’s Will.

O, Nanak! The Guru has blessed me with this nectar of the Guru’s teachings, that we could cross this ocean of life successfully by reciting True Name. (2-6-12)

धनासरी महला ४ ॥ जिस परमात्मा के वश में कामधेनु है, वह अपने भक्तों की हर इच्छाएँ पूरी करने वाला है और सर्व सुख प्रदान करने वाला है। हे मेरी आत्मा ! सो ऐसे प्रभु का ध्यान-मनन करना चाहिए, तो ही तुझे सर्व सुख प्राप्त होगा॥१॥

हे मेरे मन ! परमात्मा का नाम सदैव ही सत्य है इसलिए सत्य-नाम का ही जाप करो। यदि निरंजन परमपुरुष परमात्मा का नित्य ही ध्यान-मनन किया जाए तो इहलोक एवं परलोक में मुख उज्ज्वल होता है, अर्थात् प्रशंसा प्राप्त होती है॥ रहाउ॥

जहाँ भी भगवान का सिमरन हुआ है, वहाँ से सब दुःख-तकलीफें दूर हो गई हैं।भगवान का भजन-सिमरन तो अहोभाग्य से ही होता है। गुरु ने नानक को यह मति दी है कि परमात्मा का जाप करने से ही भवसागर से पार हुआ जाता है॥२॥६॥१२॥

ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਦਾ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਖੱਟ ਲਈਦੀ ਹੈ।ਰਹਾਉ।

ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੇ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਹਰੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਾਮਨਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜੇਹੜਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ (ਸ੍ਵਰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਮਝੀ ਗਈ) ਕਾਮਧੇਨ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਅਜੇਹੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ) ਤਦੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਏਂਗਾ।੧।

ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ ਝਗੜਾ-ਬਖੇੜਾ ਚਾਲੇ ਪਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਫਿਰ ਭੀ) ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੂੰ (ਤਾਂ) ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।੨।੬।੧੨।
