Hukamnama Translation in English

Bilawal Mahala- 5 (Gobind Simar Hoya Kalyan ) O, Brother! We have gained all the joy and peace of mind by reciting the True Name of the Lord (by worshipping the Lord). Now we have enjoyed the bliss of life by getting rid of all our sufferings or afflictions, as we have remembered (worshipped) the omniscient Lord and recited His True Name. (Pause- 1)

The holy saints always have the support of the Lord-Almighty and depend on His might, as such the True Master has protected His beings (slaves) and given them all the worldly comforts. They have always sought refuge at the lotus-feet of the Lord who is capable of casting away all our sufferings. (1)

Now we have found a friendly atmosphere all around, as the evil designs (of others) have ended, and all the enemies of this slave, trying to harm us, have been thrown out by the Lord and isolated. Even all the demons have been destroyed (including the O, Nanak:! Now we spend this life by singing the praises of the Lord, which has blessed us with peace and tranquillity of mind along with eternal bliss. (2 – 26 – 112)

बिलावलु महला ५ ॥ गोविन्द का सिमरन करने से कल्याण हो गया है।

उस अन्तर्यामी का भजन करने से सब मुसीबतें मिट गई हैं और सच्चा सुख प्राप्त हो गया है॥ १॥ रहाउ॥

जिसके ये जीव पैदा किए हुए हैं, उसने ही उन्हें सुखी किया है तथा भक्तजनों को उसका ही सच्चा सहारा है।

प्रभु ने स्वयं अपने भक्तों की लाज रखी है और वे तो भयनाशक परमात्मा पर ही गर्व करते हैं।॥ १॥

भगवान ने चुन-चुनकर कामादिक दुष्ट दूतों को मन से निकाल दिया है और अब सबसे मित्रता हो गई है तथा सारी बुराई मिट गई है।

हे नानक ! मैं तो भगवान के गुणों का बखान करके ही जी रहा हूँ और मन में सहज सुख एवं आनंद पैदा हो गया है॥ २॥ २६॥ ११२॥

Punjabi Translation

ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੁਜਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ, ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਚੋਟ ਕਾਰਗਰ ਨਾਹ ਹੋ ਸਕੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੁਖ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।

ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਸੁਖ ਹੀ ਸੁਖ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।

ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਹਨ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਸੁਖੀ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ (ਸੁਖੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਭੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੈ) । 

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਹੈ।

ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਗਤ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਤੇ ਹੀ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।੧।

(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਬੁਰਾ ਚਿਤਵਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣ ਕੇ ਕੱਢ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਸੇਵਕ ਨਾਲ) ਪਿਆਰ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਉਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਵੈਰ ਭਾਵ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸੇਵਕ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਖ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸੇਵਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਾਰ ਉਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।੨।੨੬।੧੧੨।
