बंदी छोड़ दिवस 2022

Wishing you all Happy Bandi Chhor Divas 2022 and Diwali [Dated 24th October 2022, Monday].

Bandi Chhor Divas or Diwali celebrates Guru Hargobind’s release from the Gwalior Fort, with several innocent Hindu kings who were also imprisoned by Jahangir, on 26 October 1619. While Diwali is celebrated in Memories of Lord King Rama’s return to Ayodhya after 14 years long exile.

बंदीछोड़ दिवस उस दिन की स्मृति में मनाया जाता है जब सिखों के छठे गुरु हरगोबिन्द साहिब ग्वालियर किले से आजाद होकर अमृतसर वापिस आए थे। इसी दिन भगवान राम 14 वर्ष का वनवास काट कर अयोध्या वापिस आए थे जो प्राचीन भारतीय परंपरा अनुसार सदियों से मनाया जाता आ रहा है।

गुरु हरगोविंद को बंदीछोड़ के नाम से जाना जाता है क्योंकि उन्होंने ग्वालियर किले से 52 कैदियों को अपने विवेक से रिहा किया था। कैद से छूटने के बाद दीवाली के दिन गुरु जी अमृतसर पहुंचे। सिख तब से दिवाली को रिहाई के दिन के रूप में मना रहे हैं। इस दिन को “बंदी छोड़ दिवस” ​​या “दास मुक्ति दिवस” ​​​​के रूप में जाना जाने लगा और गुरु हर गोबिंद को “बंदी छोड़” या “जेल से मुक्त कराने वाला” की उपाधि दी गई।

Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji was known as Bandichhor because he released 52 prisoners from the fort of Gwalior. After release from prison, Guruji arrived in Amritsar on Diwali day. The Sikhs have been celebrating Diwali as Bandi Chhor Diwas since then. The day became known as “ Bandi Chhor Divas ‘ or ‘ The Day of Freedom’ and Guru Har Gobind was given the title ‘ Bandi Chhod ‘ or ‘ Deliverer from prison ‘.
