Guru Ramdas Jayanti 2022 | Parkash Gurpurab

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. We are believers, and with belief, we do certain things to please Guru, we say certain words in different manners and all these are futile if we’re not walking the Guru’s way. Purab is just a deformation of Parva which is a Sanskrit word that means festival or a good time. Similarly, Jayanti is a day of Winners or the Birthday of a Mahapurush in Sanskrit. Everyone is a light of Waheguru but we don’t celebrate Jayanti of everyone here and there. So I do not mess with words until it is a question of Maryada. Guru Sahib lived among us and so they were ‘light’ packed in ‘earthen body’ as well, Jayanti we’re using to locate the page for common people, rest of Sikh Sangat knows the word Gurpurab so maximum posts are under the Gurpurab title.
