ਨਾ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਣੀ, ਉਹ ਦਰਦ ਕਹਾਣੀ।
ਉਹ ਦੇਗ ਉਬਲਦੀ, ਉਹ ਖੌਲਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ।
ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਾ ਮਾਹੀ, ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਰੱਤਾ।
ਉਹ ਚੰਦ ਭਾਨੀ ਦਾ, ਉਹ ਜੋਬਨ ਮੱਤਾ।
ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦਾ ਭਰਿਆ, ਉਹ ਗੀਤ ਦਾ ਭਰਿਆ।
ਉਹ ਬੁਲ੍ਹ ਫੁਰਕਦੇ, ਉਹ ਨੈਣ ਝਮੱਕਦੇ।
ਉਹ ਰੂਪ ਇਲਾਹੀ, ਉਹ ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹੀ।
ਜਦ ਚੇਤੇ ਆਉਣ, ਦੇਗੇ ਦੇ ਉਬਾਲੇ।
ਤਦ ਦਿਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ, ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਛਾਲੇ।
ਨਾ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਣੀ, ਉਹ ਦਰਦ ਕਹਾਣੀ।
ਉਹ ਲੋਹ ‘ਅੱਗ-ਤੱਤੀ’, ਉਹ ਅੱਗ, ਅੱਗ ਲਾਣੀ।
ਇਕ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਸੂਰਤ, ਇਕ ਮੋਹਣੀ ਮੂਰਤ।
ਅੱਗ ਨੂੰ ‘ਜਲ’ ਜਾਣੇ, ਪਈ ਮੌਜਾਂ ਮਾਣੇ।
ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਬੈਠੀ, ਕਹਿ “ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਭਾਣੇ”।
‘ਆਸਨ’ ਉਹ ਅਨੋਖਾ, ਉਹ ਮਗਨ ‘ਸਮਾਧੀ’।
ਉਹ ‘ਹਰਿ ਦਾ ਹਿਮਾਲਾ, ਜਿਸ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਸਾਧੀ।
‘ਲੋਹ’ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਕੇ, ਮੇਰਾ ਲੂੰ ਲੂੰ, ਕੰਬੇ।
ਨਾੜਾਂ ‘ਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲਣ, ਪਏ ਅੱਗ ਅਲੰਬੇ।
ਨਾ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਣੀ, ਉਹ ਦਰਦ ਕਹਾਣੀ।
ਉਹ ਰੇਤ ਝਲੂਹਣੀ, ਉਹ ਸਾੜ ਵਧਾਣੀ।
ਉਹ ਸਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਪੈਂਦੀ, ਫਿਰ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਢਹਿੰਦੀ।
ਪਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਹੀ, ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇ ਪਰਵਾਹੀ।
ਰੰਗ ਝੂਮਾਂ ਲੈਂਦਾ, ਕਹੇ ‘ਅਲਤਾ’ ਹੈ ਪੈਂਦਾ।
ਨਹੀਂ ਰੇਤ ਇਹ ਵਰ੍ਹਦੀ ਇਹ ਨੇਤ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਦੀ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਈਂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਦੇ, ਪਏ ਫੁੱਲ ਨੇ ਵਰ੍ਹਦੇ।
ਜਦ ਰੇਤ ਦੀ ਝਾਕੀ, ਮੇਰੇ ਨੈਣਾਂ ਚਿ ਫਿਰਦੀ।
ਤਦ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੇਠੋਂ, ਪਈ ਮਿਟੀ ਏ ਕਿਰਦੀ।
ਨਾ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਣੀ, ਉਹ ਦਰਦ ਕਹਾਣੀ।
ਉਹ ਨੰਗੀਆਂ ਤੇਗਾਂ, ਉਹ ਰੁਤ ਜਰਵਾਣੀ।
ਉਹ ਰਾਵੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਢਾ, ਉਹ ਅੰਤ ਦੀਦਾਰੇ।
ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪਿਆਰਾ, ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪਿਆਰੇ।
ਉਹ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸਿਖਿਆ, ਉਹ ਅੰਤਮ ਗੱਲਾਂ।
ਉਹ ਮਾਹੀ ਦੀ ਟੁਭੀ, ਉਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਛੱਲਾਂ।
ਰਾਵੀ ਰੱਵ ਜਾਣਾ, ਫਿਰ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾ ਆਣਾ।
ਜਦ ਚੇਤੇ ਆਵੇ, ਲੱਖ ਲੱਗਣ ਚੋਭਾਂ।
ਤਕ ਤਕ ਕੇ ਰਾਵੀ, ਦਿਲ ਖਾਵੇ ਡੋਬਾਂ।
