Vaisakhi 2022 Wishes

Baisakhi 2022 Wishes: Vaisakhi or Baisakhi is a very popular festival in the Indian subcontinent and many other parts of the world where the Sikh population lives.

Unlike other festivals, Vaisakhi has its own identity as it has religious, historical, and economic importance.

As mentioned above, Vaisakhi or Baisakhi is celebrated with various customs all over India. Mainly associated with the Sikh community, this day calls for an occasion to visit Gurudwara where devotees offer their services for preparing a holy feast known as ‘Langar’ for the society.

Vaisakhi is celebrated on the 14th of April annually. The festival coincides with many other new year festivals celebrated in other regions of the Indian Subcontinent.

ਅੱਤ ਦੀ ਗਰਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਬੜੀ ਕਰੜੀ ਮਸ਼ਕੱਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਾੜੀ ਦੀ ਫਸਲ ਸਾਂਭਦਾ, ਆੜ੍ਹਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਜੇ ਲਾਹੁੰਦਾ, ਸਾਲ ਭਰ ਟੱਬਰ ਪਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਕਣਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੀਆਂ ਭਰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਤੁੜੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੋਠੇ ਤੇ ਧੜਾਂ ਸੁਆਰ ਕੇ ਵਿਹਲਾ ਹੋ ਹਟਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਾਨੇ ਲਈ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਵਿਸਾਖ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਦਿਨ ਚੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਤੂੜੀ ਤੰਦ ਸਾਂਭ ਹਾੜੀ ਵੇਚ ਵੱਟ ਕੇ,
ਲੰਬੜਾਂ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ,
ਪੱਗ ਝੱਗਾ ਚਾਦਰਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਸਿਵਾਇ ਕੇ,
ਸੰਮਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਡਾਂਗ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੇਲ ਲਾਇ ਕੇ,
ਕੱਛੇ ਮਾਰ ਵੰਝਲੀ ਅਨੰਦ ਛਾ ਗਿਆ,
ਮਾਰਦਾ ਦਮਾਮੇ ਜੱਟ ਮੇਲੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ।
