Twentieth-century Sufi poet Hakeem Mirza Jogi Allah Yaar Khan narrated the martyrdom of elder Sahibzadas Baba Ajit Singh and Baba Jujhar Singh Ji at Chamkaur Sahib in the Urdu language with an empathetic heart-wrenching emotion. He named this place “Ganj-e-Shaheed”, which means the place where the Sahibzadas (Elder Princes) were martyred.

ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਕੀਮ ਅੱਲਾ ਯਾਰ ਖਾਂ ਜੋਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇਂ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਧਰਮ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਛੇਕ ਦਿਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਫ਼ਰ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ 30 ਸਾਲ ਮਸਜਿਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਤਕ ਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਸੂਰ ਇਹ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਦੋ ਮਰਸੀਏ ਲਿਖੇ।
