Why Guru Arjan Created Barah Maha Manjh?
If there was already a Calendar Poem in SGGS, then why 5th Guru create another 12 Maha? It is said that once Sikh Sangat approached Guru Arjan Dev Ji and urged him that the Barah Maha by Guru Nanak was very difficult to understand. On the behest of Sikhs, he recreated the 12 Months Poem in easy words.
Barah Maha Manjh PDF is a file containing Guru Arjan's calendar poem in the measure Manjh included in the Guru Granth Sahib (SGGS, pages 133 to 136).
