Word Meaning: ਬੈਕੁੰਠ = ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂ ਦਾ ਸ੍ਵਰਗ। ਰਿਦ = ਹਿਰਦਾ।੧। ਦਿਖਲਾਵਉ = ਦਿਖਲਾਵਉਂ, ਮੈਂ ਵਿਖਾਵਾਂ। ਬਿੰਜਨ = ਸੁਆਦਲੇ ਭੋਜਨ। ਭੁੰਚਾਵਉ = ਭੁੰਚਾਵਉਂ, ਮੈਂ ਖਿਲਾਵਾਂ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ। ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ = ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਭੁੰਚੁ = ਖਾਹ। ਸੁਦ = ਸੁਆਦ।੨। ਤਾਕੀ = ਤੱਕੀ। ਬੁਝਿ ਥਾਕੀ = ਮਿਟ ਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।੩। ਭੈ = {ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਭਉ' ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ}। ਨਿਵਾਰੇ = ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੪। [Prof. Sahib Singh]
ਸੂਹੀ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ ਲੋਕ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਜਿਥੇ ਸਾਧੂ ਵਸਦੇ ਹਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਵਲ ਰੂਪੀ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਟਿਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਕਰ, ਹੇ ਮਰੀਏ ਆਤਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਹ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਮਾਰਗ ਵਿਖਾਵਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੈਕਾਂ ਭੋਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਮਤਾਂ ਛਕਾਵਾਂ ॥ ਠਹਿਰਾਉ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੁਧਾਰਸਰੂਪ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਖ ਅਕਥਨੀਯ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਸੁਆਦ ਤੇਰਾ ਲਾਲਚ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਖਾਹਿਸ਼ ਬੁੱਝ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਸਾਧੂ ਕੇਵਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਓਟ ਤਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਡਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਲਗਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਨੌਕਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਉਤੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ॥
English Translation
( Baikunth Nagar Jaha Sant Vasa ... )
O Brother! The abode of holy saints is called heaven or blissful as the love of the lotus-feet of the Lord is imbibed in their hearts. (1)
O dear friends! Listen to me! We will show you how to enjoy the eternal bliss of partaking in the food of the Lord's True Name prepared in many ways. (enjoy the nectar of True Name). (Pause - 1)
O friend! Let us enjoy the bliss of the nectar of the Lord's True Name in the company of the holy saints. The nectar's taste is wonderful, but it is beyond any description. (Indescribable.) (2)
By reciting the True Name, the greed has been cast away and the love of worldly possessions has been curbed. Having taken the support of the Lord, our vicious thoughts have been completely wiped out. (Vicious thinking has tired itself out).(3)
O Nanak! The Lord (through His Grace) has cast away all our fear complex of ages, worldly attachments, and other vices as the Lord has blessed us with His benevolence. (4-21-27)

सूही महला ५ ॥ बैकुंठ नगर जहा संत वासा ॥ प्रभ चरण कमल रिद माहि निवासा ॥१॥ सुण मन तन तुझ सुख दिखलावउ ॥ हरि अनिक बिंजन तुझ भोग भुंचावउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ अमृत नाम भुंच मन माही ॥ अचरज साद ता के बरने न जाही ॥२॥ लोभ मूआ त्रिसना बुझ थाकी ॥ पारब्रहम की सरण जन ताकी ॥३॥ जनम जनम के भै मोह निवारे ॥ नानक दास प्रभ किरपा धारे ॥४॥२१॥२७॥
सूही महला ५ ॥ ( Baikunth Nagar Jaha Sant Vasa ... ) असल में वह बैकुंठ नगर ही है, जहाँ पर संतों का निवास है। प्रभु के चरण-कमलों का उनके हृदय में ही निवास होता है॥ १॥ हे मेरे मन एवं तन ! जरा सुनो, मैं तुझे सुख दिखलाऊँ। मैं तुझे अनेक प्रकार के व्यंजन एवं भोग कराऊँ॥ १॥ रहाउ ॥ अपने मन में अमृत नाम चखो। इस नाम के अद्भुत स्वाद वर्णन नहीं किए जा सकते॥ २॥ नाम चखने से मन में से लोभ मर गया है और तृष्णा भी बुझकर खत्म हो गई है। संतजनों ने तो परब्रह की शरण ही देखी है ॥३॥ मेरे जन्म-जन्मांतर के भय एवं मोह दूर कर दिए हैं नानक पर प्रभु ने कृपा की है ।॥ ४॥ २१॥ २७ ॥
